- This World Reef Day, we celebrate the coral nursery project at Villa Park. 🪸 Launched in 2023, the project uses coral nursery trees designed to lift coral fragments off the seabed, helping improve water flow and reduce sedimentation around young corals. Home to species such as Acropora branch coral and Fossil Porites finger corals, the nursery is part of our ongoing commitment to protecting reef life in the Maldives. Even through the challenges of coral bleaching and changing sea temperatures, our dive team continues to monitor, care for, and support coral recovery beneath the surface.
